In December 2014, Heroes Need Heroes representatives handed over $10,000 AUD of rescue and ambulance equipment to allow the volunteer medics in Fiji. Sigatoka Hospital in Fiji also received donated equipment from a group of nurses in Queensland (via HNH). Not long after the equipment was handed over it was already in use within 24 hours of delivery at several vehicle accidents. Whilst in Fiji our representatives also conducted first aid and CPR training for 120 staff of the tourist industry. Special thanks to Tourism Fiji, the Australian High Commission, and Ferno Australia. Browse our Fiji Gallery for photos of the handover and some beautiful Fijian people. We will be working closely with Tourism Fiji to further deliver both training and equipment throughout 2015.
